![]() ![]() I get what EA intentionally tried to do and that is give more personality to toddlers and the new infant lifestage where they are supposed to be less boring, but it also adds a lot more chaos in the mix as well where it might be hard for some people to manage, might be more time consuming when adding both infants and toddlers into the mix, and will require a considerable amount of time in getting used to as well. ![]() I also have to keep on cancelling out interactions, because of the high demands from both toddlers and especially infants. ![]() I think that what EA is doing to trying to force us to micromanage more even with full autonomy being turned on. Also, before this infant update there was never any long queue for toddler sims. This can go on endlessly as all the toddlers demand baths interrupting the other toddlers getting bathed with their magically powerful queue interrupters.Īnd I thought that only infants were going to be annoying. With toddlers I've witnessed a circle of queued action fail due to toddler demands overriding -every single already queued action- where one toddler asks for a bath - that's awesome right? Now sim picks toddler up walks to bath and goes to bathe them, plops toddler in bath then.another toddler has demanded a bath! Now toddler already in the bath gets interrupted by queue changes in the adult sim trying to bathe toddler and OUT COMES THE TODDLER still all stinky as adult goes over to latest toddler demanding a bath and picks that toddler up to take it to bath, then puts toddler into bath but RUH ROH another toddler is now demanding a bath! So the second toddler gets plucked out of bath still stinky as adult's queue ONCE AGAIN GETS AUTO INTERRUPTED AND CHANGED BY A DAMN TODDLER. If only a modder could figure out how to make queue lockers or something. The queues need to let us control them 100% so we can choose if something gets removed from queue or stays there. This can go on endlessly as all the toddlers demand baths interrupting the other toddlers getting bathed with their magically powerful queue interrupters. ![]() I get they upped the autotomy to prevent neglected babies, but GOD GIVE ME CONTROL DAMN IT. Crying baby was stinky so i cued my mommy sim to change the crying kid’s diaper (won’t even touch on diapers rn) my sim just stood at the crib, stared at the stinky crying child for about ten in game minutes, then turned around and checked on the unbothered child. I had twins my first time playing (lucky me) and one was crying in the crib and the other was happily playing on the floor. Originally posted by Miss.Opossum:These infants 100% need to be nerfed. Contrary to what some people might think the least fun lifestage on the Sims 4 in my personal opinion is not elder, child, or toddler, but infants. I literally had almost no time to do anything fun with my grim reaper besides constantly needing to take care of 7 infants which was challenging for me even with a nanny. Not only are infants hard, but they also might need extra help as well especially for a single parent such as a maid, nanny, or butler for example. James Turner had a few infants get a positive infant trait when aged up in addition to an added skill when aged up, but I have not experienced this yet. I have not noticed any added skills yet either when my infants are aged up from infant to toddler on normal lifespan. Also, even when they do age up they only get the negative toddler trait instead of positive toddler trait or no new trait at all. If I was not using the grim reaper as a single parent whose needs surprisingly do not decay besides fun (which it is important to keep in mind that my grim reaper did not have any rewards that reduce the requirement need for eating, sleeping, and etc.) I would have a much harder time trying to raise seven infants. Maybe EA should have added preteens instead of infants. ![]()
